What it does
Upload a lease portfolio spreadsheet (from AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or your own template). Get back a normalized file with all lease dates in consistent ISO format, rent amounts as plain numbers, days-to-expiry calculated, and leases expiring within 90 days flagged.
The problem it solves
Property managers dealing with portfolios across multiple properties collect lease data from different sources and templates. Lease start/end dates come in a dozen formats. Rent amounts have $, commas, and "per month" suffixes. Calculating renewals and expirations requires a clean, consistent dataset first.
What it handles automatically
- Date normalization — Converts all date fields (start, end, option, notice deadline) to YYYY-MM-DD
- Rent amount cleaning — Strips currency symbols, "per month", and commas from rent fields
- Days to expiry — Calculates days from today to lease end date for each row
- Expiry flagging — Flags leases expiring within 30, 60, or 90 days
- Unit address normalization — Consistent apartment/unit number formatting
FAQ
Does it connect to AppFolio or Buildium directly? No — export your data as a CSV or XLSX first, then upload here.
Can I process commercial and residential leases together? Yes. The tool normalizes the fields you map; it doesn't distinguish lease type.
Does it store my data? No. All processing is in your browser. Tenant and property data never leaves your machine.
